Prime Minister HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani, Prime Minister ordinary meeting of Council held yesterday evening at the Emiri Diwan. Following the meeting, HE Sheikh Nasser bin Mohamed bin Abdul Aziz Al Thani, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, including the following: In the beginning of the meeting the Council expressed its deep concern over events in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic and the concomitant escalation and rise in the number of victims. The Council also expresses grief and sorrow for the many casualties of innocent civilians, it appeals to our brothers in Syria to put wisdom and work to stop the bloodshed and to stop the use of force and acceleration of the implementation of the reform processes which responds to the legitimate demands of the Syrian people and maintained by the Syrian security and stability and national unity. The Council expressed its confidence that the direct dialogue and to respond to the demands of reform is the way out of this crisis. After the Cabinet considered the topics on the agenda, and took the following decisions: - First, take the necessary action to issue a draft decree to increase the paid up capital of Qatar Petroleum. - Secondly, to approve the draft decision of the Council of Ministers to amend certain provisions of Resolution No. / 17 / for the year 2011 named president and members of the Tax Appeal Committee and the organization of work and determine rewards. - Third, to approve the financial contribution to the Trust Fund to finance participation of experts in UNCTAD meetings. - Fourth: Approved a draft agreement on regulating the use of Alsoizilandaan workers in the State of Qatar, between Qatar and the Government of the Kingdom of Swaziland.
