Barwa Real Estate company will start registration of tenants for commercial and residential properties at Barwa Village under construction in Al Wakra from June 14. The first phase of registration will continue until June 30. The company has announced the rental prices of the properties. A studio apartment will be available at QR2,500 per month while a one-bed room facility will cost QR3,000. The monthly rent for a two-bed apartment is fixed at QR4,500. Shops with 84 square metre area is priced at QR10,700 per month. While allotting the properties, preference will be given to tenants who currently occupy units scheduled to be redeveloped in phase one (A1&B1) of the Heart of Doha project at Mohamed Bin Jassem Area, Musherib in Doha. Delivery of the properties at Barwa Village is scheduled for the first quarter of next year. The QR1.5bn project includes residential units with a total capacity of 1,500 people and commercial units with a capacity of more than 13,000 people. BARWA Property, a subsidiary of BARWA Real Estate, has opened a clients services centre located on the eighth floor of Al Owaina Building behind Qatar National Museum. It has also set up a call center — 459 55 99 — to attend to all enquiries. The service center will start receiving applications from June 14 until June 30. The service will be available from 9am to 1pm and from 4pm to 8pm. Applicants from Mohamed Bin Jassim Area (Phase one) are required to provide the following documents, along with the application — Photocopy of ID card, photocopy of CR (commercial registration), photocopy from lease contract, electricity and water bill and certified cheque for two months’ lease. Registration for all tenants of Mohamed Bin Jassim Area, Muserib (all Phases) will reopen from July 5 to July 29. Tenancy contracts will be signed at a later date according to the BARWA Village transfer strategy which aims to meet the demands and needs of occupants in areas under redevelopment, the company said yesterday. All units are fitted with split airconditioning units and all apartments are provided with durable upper and lower kitchen cabinets with granite top and double sinks. There will be a central gas system for all apartments, central satellite TV outlets for all apartmenst and shops, security patrol coverage, plenty of parking space, telephone and internet lines for both apartments and shops, steel collapsible entrance door for each shop and full community and amenities support. The facility will also have well designed access roads and soft landscape. The place is relatively close to mosque, plaza, health club and a park. The design also assures easy in and out access from the village area to the main Al Wakra Road BARWA Village’s 18 residential low-height compounds comprise ground floor, mezzanine and first floor — present various residential and commercial options including 96 studios, 262 one-bedroom apartments, 100 two-bedroom apartments, and 918 retail shops.
