Banks will have official Eid Al Fitr holidays for five days beginning tomorrow, but from the second day of Eid some of their branches will be open during their normal weekday working hours. In the evenings, some banks’ branches in shopping centres will be open from 5pm to 9pm on the second and third days of Eid. On the first day of Eid all banks and their branches will be closed. The banks have filled up their ATM networks with cash — all of them have put new and crisp currency bills of various denominations on the occasion of Eid.
