Doha Bank has donated QR30,000 to Qatar Red Crescent’s “Gates of Goodness” campaign and in support of its various other projects.
Khalid al- Naema, head of Public Sector, presented the cheque to Qatar Red Crescent in the presence of senior Doha Bank officials.
Sheikh Fahad bin Mohamed bin Jabor al-Thani, Chairman of Doha Bank, expressed the bank’s continuous desire to provide help and hope to those in need. He also stressed the bank’s commitment to participating in charity work and humanitarian aid.
Doha Bank has a long history of supporting Qatar’s reputable charities, which are active in disaster relief efforts around the world, he added.
Khalid al-Naema said: “Realising the great value and effect of charitable donations, in the spirit of the Holy month of Ramadan, and in keeping with our philanthropic traditions, Doha Bank has decided to donate QR30,000 to Qatar Red Crescent in support of its “Gates of Goodness” campaign, which focuses on specific charity projects domestically and abroad.
“The Tenth “Gates of Goodness” campaign this year includes five main categories: Domestic projects, Ramadan programmes and projects in Qatar and abroad, Sadaqa Jariya, social and medical programmes and projects abroad, and medical projects for children.”
