The Peruvian National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (REINEC) posted on its official Instagram account the list of names recorded in 2022 inspired by famous events and characters that transpired throughout the year, including 'Qatar' from the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Apart from 'Qatar', several parents named their children 'Cristiano Ronaldo', 'Pele', 'Lionel Messi', and 'Mbappe'. 30,485 children born in 2022 were recorded to have been named 'Ronaldo' as well.
