The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change announced in a tweet the response and action taken after receiving reports from residents regarding a foul odor at the Old Kheesa Bridge in the Jeryan Junaihat area. The ministry sent specialists to investigate and confirmed the presence of the odor.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, in cooperation with the Department of Industrial Inspection and Pollution Control, the Monitoring Department, and the Environmental Laboratory, has decided to install the air quality monitoring station at the site in Al Kheesa to further investigate, take the necessary readings and conduct an evaluation regarding this case.
The ministry is closely following the results and readings and will take the necessary action to ensure the health and wellbeing of residents in the area.
