MOWASALAT has built an air-conditioned bus-stand at Al Wosail as a pilot project, a local Arabic daily reported yesterday. Business Development director Ahmed al-Ansari was quoted as saying that the central bus station in the Al Ghanem area is working three times its capacity now. The number of public transport buses will increase to 240 this year. The official hoped that the authorities will grant Mowasalat land to build a permanent central bus station.
