The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) announced on 27 March that another Qatari Armed Forces plane had arrived in Egypt with 20 tons of aid to be provided to the people of Gaza.

With this, the total number of Qatari aid planes for Gaza totalled 87.

The aid provided included food supplies provided by Qatar Charity.

Her Excellency Lolwa Al Khater, Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received the plane at the Al Arish Airport in Egypt.

Many Palestinians with Qatari residency were also evacuated from the Gaza Strip to Doha.
