The deadline for 50 percent discount on fines for all types of traffic violations end on Thursday, said a senior official from the Traffic Department.
The department had announced the discount for fines registered before December 31, 2015 and starting from January 8, 2016. The first deadline was April 7, 2016 which was extended to July 7. The department will remain open during Eid-Al-Fitr holidays from 8am to noon. Motorist can visit the department or use Metrash2 to pay the fines to avail the discount, said Major Jaber Al Adiba.
