“Henna Ahalha” QND Festival — Monday

The “Henna Ahalha” Festival, organized by Embrace Doha, celebrates the heritage, culture, and national identity of Qatar in a distinct way.

The festival aims to offer an interactive cultural experience that will enhance the way in which locals and non-locals will learn about the history of Qatar.


Activities will include traditional arts and crafts, kids entertainment and games, cultural food, and a photo booth where visitors can get pictures taken wearing traditional Qatari clothing.

Darb Al Saai — Everyday till December 20

One of the major attractions of the QND 2016 celebrations at the grounds in Al Sadd. It runs from December 8-20, showcasing different tents by different entities. There will be a food court with stalls that sell traditional Qatari food, as well as juice, snacks, and other items.

Time: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm, and 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Ladies Training Days at Losail International Circuit

Starting from today, Losail International Circuit will be hosting Ladies Training Days.

Twice a month, the Losail track will be open only for ladies to be able to exercise in one of the largest venues in Doha with privacy as well as enjoy a variety of outdoor activities.

Bicycles and gear will be available so ladies won’t have to bring their personal cycles from home. There will be special trainers available to provide yoga lessons, a mini-bootcamp; walking, jogging and other activities, as well as a special allocated area for children.

*Please note only boys under 9 years of age will be allowed inside the track.*

Karting & Minimoto at Losail Circuit Sports Club — Thursday and Friday

The Karting and Minimoto track at Losail International Circuit is open for the public. It can also be opened for private companies (upon request and availability).

Track Schedule: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Price: QR100 per Karting session of 15 Minutes
Helmet mask QR15 – not refundable

Dates:

JANUARY 2017: 5 - 6 - 12 - 13 - 19 - 20 - 26 - 27

KARTING

For karting activities, the minimum age is 15 years old. Any participant under the age of 18 needs permission signed by a legal guardian to be able to use the karting facility.

It is also compulsory to bring a helmet along for safety reasons, if you don’t have one available, the circuit can provide you with one.

MINI MOTO

For the mini moto track, participants should bring their own bike and safety equipment. 


NOTE: Calendar of Karting and Mini Moto Track activities is subject to change. Please check www.lcsc.qa for any calendar change.

For both activities, the registration will be done directly at the venue, at the VIP Car Park of the Losail International Circuit.

Car Track Day at Losail International Circuit — Tuesday

Losail’s Car Track Day is an organized event where people are invited to drive on the Qatari race track in a safe and friendly atmosphere.

Registration: 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Scrutineering (help competitors to compete in a safe and legal manner and comply with regulations): 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Track open: 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Winter Musical Roaming 2016 — Friday

The Winter Musical Roaming promises a lot of fun activities for everyone! Join the Pearl-Qatar musical parades with jugglers and mascots roaming Porto Arabia’s restaurants, retail arcades, and boardwalks!
