Teach For Qatar is participating in the Supreme Educational Council’s tent at Darb Al Saai to celebrate Qatar National Day. Offering visitors a glimpse of the country’s educational history, the tent is reminiscent of school days from the past.

Decorated with old teaching materials and old desks, the Teach For Qatar classroom contains a 3D projection of a teacher who conducts a science lesson through a fun interactive experiment. By making learning an engaging experience, the activity as a whole aims to remind the public of the vital role a passionate teacher can have on impacting student learning.

Teach For Qatar’s corner at the children’s play area at Darb Al Saai includes colorful and interactive oversized letters and numbers where children can play, climb and have fun while participating in a challenging educational competition. Visitors are encouraged to post about their experience at the Teach For Qatar space and Qatar National Day using the hashtag #رد_الجميل.

By training young leaders to positively impact students inside the classroom, Teach For Qatar is a local non-governmental organization which provides passionate graduates and young professionals with an opportunity to give back to the country by placing them at independent schools for a two year teaching and leadership development program.

Applications for the Teach For Qatar 2015-2017 Fellowship are now open. For more information, or to apply, please visit www.teachforqatar.org.
