An artist can be anyone and everyone who has the ability to create. From music to cartoons, you are an artist if you have it in you to be the master of creation. It has always fascinated me how caricature artists have it in them to take your face and make it an ode to you in the most creative way possible. That being said, here are a few cartoonists/caricature artists that reside in Qatar and are ready to draw you.

Joanne Brooke – A woman who is one of the most famous names in Qatar when it comes to caricatures, Joanne is not only an artist herself but she is a leader when it comes to encouraging arts with students. An editorial illustrator who has been all over China, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bolivia and Australia as a Caricature artist, Doha has a treat and a gem to brag about.

Khalid A. Ali – A cartoonist who became more recognized during 2011 for his politically charged images, Khalid gained a reputation of a revolutionary artist as his work was shared through countries like Cairo, Beirut, Yemen and Middles East, thanks to the social media. Popularity has become an ordinary thing for this social and political artist as his recent works have now been exhibited in Bahrain, London and Montreal as well. A social media artist, we see Ali stepping up the ladder all the time.

Shujaat Ali – Another man who is a political artists, Shujaat Ali has not only been drawing these cartoons but also is among the pioneers of 2-D animated cartoons online. Starting his career from Pakistan, he made it with Al Jazeera for a good 16 years.
