MOI's students graduate from Polish Maritime Academy

The Polish Maritime Academy has celebrated the graduation of the first batch of scholarships of the Ministry of Interior, which includes 10 students who received a qualitative education over four years to obtain a bachelor's degree in marine science.

Colonel Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al-Ghayatheen, Assistant Director of Human Resources Department at the Ministry of Interior in a speech during the ceremony praised the efforts exerted by the Academy in educating and training of scholarship of the ministry, and equipping them with science and knowledge to perform their duties in the service of their dear country, the State of Qatar with high scientific capabilities and competencies.

He added that the Ministry of Interior is proud of its partnership with the Polish Maritime Academy, which is one of the esteemed maritime academies in the world and highly appreciates its cooperation in transferring its long-standing expertise to the ministry's cadres in a way that achieves its objectives to build a modern policeman who keeps pace with the latest developments in the field of policing and security and improve performance at all levels.

He said that the graduates of the first batch of the scholarship of the Ministry constitute a qualitative addition to the Ministry of Interior, especially in the field of maritime tasks carried out by the General Directorate of Coastal and Border Security.

On behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Dr Mohammed Hamad Al-Ghayatheen congratulated the graduating students, praising their high results during the study and their highest discipline, which will reflect in the future on their field performance in the service of their country.

Lt. Col. Abdulaziz Ali Al Mohannadi, Assistant Director-General of Coast and Border Security, praised the partnership between the Ministry of Interior and the Polish Academy, noting that there are many areas of cooperation between the parties in the field of and training and everything related to marine science.

The Qatari student Humaid Mohammed Al-Humaidi was awarded a distinction and was honoured during the ceremony among the outstanding graduates of the Academy.

The graduation ceremony was attended by H.E. Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Poland, Ahmed bin Saif Al-Maadadi, a delegation from the Ministry of Interior and a number of parents of the graduating students.
