The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced Tuesday the opening of e-registration for scholarships of undergraduate and postgraduate levels for the academic year 2020/2021, on the government scholarship portal.
The ministry said that the e-registration will be in two phases, starting from Tuesday, until the following Monday for students applying for the fall semester during the month of September. The second phase will be reopened from Nov. 1, 2020, to Dec. 31, 2020, for students applying for the spring semester.
The Ministry stressed the need to fulfill the general and special conditions for scholarships, noting that incomplete or submitted applications will not be considered after the registration is closed. Moreover, the ministry also confirmed that the process of registering at the portal and reviewing the application does not necessarily mean accepting the scholarship request.
