SnapTV held its first ever Zombie Zumba event at Al Sharq Village on Friday, 27 November 2015. The two hour Zumba session began at 7.00 am and was joined by a huge crowd of Zumba enthusiasts. The event was sponsored by GAC Motors, Casio G-Shock. The support sponsors were McDonald’s, Popcorn Girl, Columbus Travels and Tours, Art Qatar, and Fitness First. The media partners were Scene Stealer, Doha Heat, Trinity Talent Qatar, Qatar Living, Ohlala! Magazine, and FACT Qatar Magazine. The community partners for this event were Internations Qatar, Lebanese GROUP in Qatar, Qatar Cosplayers and The Youth Company.

It was a lovely Friday morning with pleasant weather; ideal for a session of Zombie Zumba. Face painting artists were at hand to help everyone get into the spirit of Zombie Zumba. Ms. Hajer Ellafi lead the opening Zumba Dance. The dance floor was then taken over by three Zumba instructors from Fitness First. Prizes were given for the best Zombie Zumba dance, the top ten Zumba dancers, and the best Zombie Artist.

The Zombie Art contest winner was Ms. Valino who won QR. 2000 from Art Qatar and a G-Shock Casio watch sponsored by Casio. Our winner for the Zombie Zumba dance was Jobelle Tomaro; who received a GShock watch sponsored by Casio, a special gift from McDonalds, QR. 500 voucher from popcorn girl, QR. 400 voucher from Grand Hyatt hotel, and T-Shirts from Graphitee and Crunch Doha. Carlo Yan on behalf of Snap TV and Mr. Jhune Garcia of Columbus Travels and Tours handed over 2 air tickets to the Philippines embassy of Doha for the aid of distressed OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers) . SnapTV Roadshows will be organizing different entertainment shows in various public spaces like malls, parks, and hotels. So watch out for this space.
