Professor Mehmet Ozdogan of Istanbul University is one of the world’s leading archaeologists. He discussed his award-winning work at over 25 key Neolithic excavation sites in Turkey over the past 50 years, offering fascinating insights into the prehistoric cultures of Anatolia.

The event is the second in a six-part lecture series on Archaeology and Heritage Conservation.

The event was attended by prominent people, student, professors and media bodies.

Organised by Qatar Museums and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey in partnership with UCL Qatar as part of Qatar Turkey 2015 Year of Culture.
