talabat, the region's leading local tech platform, has launched another campaign to aid the immediate emergency relief support of earthquake victims in Türkiye and Syria in collaboration with Qatar Charity.

For the next three days, customers can donate specially-curated relief boxes via talabat Mart, including all primary necessities such as sugar, flour, beans, soup, milk, oil, rice, pasta, tea and much more, for the reduced price of QR 50. Additionally, users can purchase comforters at a reduced price of QR 12, which will be packaged and sent directly to families affected by the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. For every customer donation on the app, a QAR 10 delivery fee will also be fully donated to Qatar Charity as a relief to the families affected.

How to donate:

• Launch the talabat app
• Choose ‘talabat Mart’ and select ‘Turkey/Syria Donation box’ to donate directly to the urgent cause.
• Complete the donation process via the app.
• The donation will be sent directly by Qatar Charity to those affected by the earthquakes via Cargo flights.

Ahmad Mr. Yousef Fakhroo, CEO’s assistant for the Resources Development and Media sector at Qatar Charity, thanked talabat and talabat mart for supporting Qatar Charity’s ‘Save Earthquake Victims in Turkey and Northern Syria’ that seeks to deliver urgent relief aid to the Turkey-Syria earthquake victims, indicating that the affected are living in unimaginable humanitarian conditions. He also called on the community to support Qatar Charity’s relief campaign and tabatat’s initiative to provide relief aid to hundreds of the affected families, meet their necessary needs, and prevent the already worse situation from deteriorating further.
