Doha, Qatar - The 5-day International Wedding Exhibition and Fashion Show Doha 2017 (IWED) kicks off on Thursday, 18th May 2017, Mr. Hadi Ali, CEO of Qatar Expo together with Qatar’s famous influencer Eme Make Up Artist and Mr. Ahmad Bin Hamad, the owner of Royal Events, one of the famous wedding planner in Qatar, inaugurated the Opening Ceremony.

Covering a total of 5,000 sqm, IWED 2017 is featuring the latest wedding services mainly from Qatar, GCC countries, Turkey, and Asia attracting over 8,000 visitors locally and internationally until 22 nd May 2017.

IWED guarantees visitors to be stunned by different activities involves such as spectacular daily fashion shows from leading designers, huge wedding planners and its custom stands, showcasing beauty and healthcare products, dazzling jewelries and accessories exhibits, traditional Arab and European brands, entertainments, plus the chance to take perks every day from different participants.

IWED is open from 12:00pm to 10:00pm from Thursday to Monday except Friday at 3:o0pm – 10:00pm.

This edition marks the continuance of interactive wedding suppliers in the country to allow the audience connect and share latest ideas and inspirations about wedding. Several fashion shows such as Ali Beydoun Fashion Design, Aisha Al Muhairi Design, Ryma Couture, Zainah Collection, Awabid Design, Dar Waham and more will showcase on the catwalk. Hair and make-up tutorial is hosted by Make up District and luxurious creations made by the region’s designers is also on cue.
