Ooredoo has announced today that its award winning Mobile Money service will give QR 100 cash back on international transfers to the Philippines for three consecutive months.

The offer, which has been designed to further reward loyal Ooredoo Mobile Money (OMM) customers, will give users QR 100 free in their Mobile Wallet when they use the service to send money to the Philippines to family and friends for three months in a row.

The offer will run from 5 February to 5 July, 2015 and customers must start sending transactions the latest by 5 May, 2015 to be eligible for this promotion. Minimum per transaction amount required to be eligible for this promotion is QR 100.

Customers can register for Mobile Money with a valid Qatar ID at any Ooredoo Shop or by dialling *140# by simply downloading the free “Ooredoo Money” App on their mobile and following the simple on-screen instructions.

Once registered, customers can take advantage of the free QR 100 cashback by sending money to the Philippines for cash collection at any local MoneyGram agents or direct bank account transfer to over 20 banks, securely and reliably 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

When the three monthly international transfers have been completed, the QR 100 will be instantly credited into the customers Mobile Wallet. The money will be sent on the first day of the fourth month from initiating their first transaction. Customers can take advantage of this offer only once during the promotional period.

Mobile Money is available for use on any model of mobile phone and can be used to Top-Up Hala accounts (with a 10% extra recharge), pay Ooredoo bills, send money locally to another mobile or QNB account, or transfer money overseas.

Users can deposit money into their mobile wallet using any of over 200 Ooredoo Self-Service Machines available throughout Qatar. Deposits can also be made through Ooredoo Shops or direct transfer from any QNB Bank account through QNB Mobile Payment service.

The Ooredoo Money App is also available now via the Google Play and iTunes Store and gives Ooredoo Mobile Money users a dedicated app where they can check their finance, transfer money around the world instantly through MoneyGram, and complete daily Ooredoo tasks. Existing Ooredoo Mobile Money users can use their mobile number and 6-digit mPIN to sign into the free app.
