On its first two days, Project Qatar 2016, held under the Auspices of His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani, The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, welcomed an unprecedented number of trade professional visitors showing a 36% increase in total visitors compared to the first 2 days of the previous edition. This shows the huge importance of Project Qatar as the ultimate business platform for the construction industry in Qatar and the region. Project Qatar’s move to the new venue DECC is also playing a major role in the visitor flow, due to its location in Westbay and the ease of access from the parking to registration and exhibition halls.
Visitors of the show were impressed by the variety of technologies and innovative solutions showcased during the event. They highlighted the importance of the B2B matchmaking platform which allowed them to engage with professionals from the same sector and discuss the newest trends in the construction industry with experts and policy makers. Mr. Martin Castles, Group Commercial Manager of Gulf Contracting Company noted: “We have explored over the last couple of days the latest products and innovations in the construction industry.
