It's time for Eid Al Adha and a lot of people want to know when the vacation starts.
We mentioned a couple of days ago that Saudi announced that Eid starts on Thursday the 24th of September. The Emiri Diwan announced that the government institutions will start their holidays from Wednesday the 23rd of September until the 29th of September (with work resuming on the 30th). A lot of private companies have followed suit and announced that they will be starting on the 23rd of September, however some resume on Sunday the 27th of September. This means that the government will have a 7 day holiday while the private sector will have a 4 day holiday.
(Of course it's best to check with your work place when work will resume.)
