Now customers can report disruption in electricity and water on their smartphone.

Qatar General Electricity and Water (Kahramaa) has launched a new online service for reporting service interruption of electricity and water through Kahramaa app on smartphones.

On the home screen of the app there is a button for reporting the interruption. The customer need to key in the water or electricity number, phone number and Qatar ID number and then click on “report interruption” and a request will be send to the electricity and water emergency department. There is also an option to key in any details you need to provide along with the report.

Kahramaa also provides a 24-hr call center to help subscribers. This can be accessed by dialing 991.

The app includes a host of other services like viewing and payment bills, view a summary of properties registered as owner and request online services for each property, request a certificates, send readings, track the status of the service request (building permits and service delivery) and more.
