Mahaseel for Marketing and Agri. Services Company (a subsidiary of Hassad), announced today that it succeeded in marketing 10 million kilograms of vegetables in the local market, during the current agricultural season.

Hassad CEO Eng. Mohamed Al Sadah stated:

"Its our pleasure to announce Mahaseel's success in marketing 10 million kilos of vegetables, during the current agricultural season. Mahaseel managed to display the added value of the local produce through its production processes (sorting, cleaning, packaging and marketing) with the aim to increase the quantity and enhance the quality of local produce".

Established in 2018, Mahaseel for Marketing and Agri-Services supports in increasing and enhancing the local agricultural production, in order to back Qatar's self-sufficiency efforts. The company supports the private sector, by marketing the local farmers’ production, as well as provide several other required agriculture related services.

Mahaseel, markets 30 different types of vegetables in the local market, through 44 hypermarkets outlets around the country. Moreover, over 200 local farms are currently registered with Mahaseel to benefit from the marketing and agricultural services provided to farmers.
