The "Made in Bangladesh" exhibition opened at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre on Tuesday.
The three-day exhibition is organized by Qatar-Bangladesh Forum, in cooperation with the Embassy of Bangladesh in Doha.
Over 60 companies are taking part in the exhibition, covering 18 main sectors in Bangladesh in the fields of information technology, energy, cement, telecommunications, food, beverages, fisheries and others.
The opening ceremonies were attended by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Sultan bin Rashid Al Khater, HE Advisor to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Salman F Rahman, HE Chairman of the Qatari Businessmen Association Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al-Thani, a number of businessmen from both sides and representatives of exhibiting companies.
A number of side events are lined up on the sidelines of the exhibition including bilateral meetings between businessmen from both countries, seminars and business discussions between leaderships of the industry on both sides.
