Kidzania doha sherborne sign ambassador school agreement

KidZania Doha, a multi award-winning learning and entertainment brand, and Sherborne Qatar a leading British curriculum school, announced their partnership on the ambassador school agreement program.

Mr. Victor Jabbour, General Manager of Qatar Entertainment (Tasali) W.L.L., and Mr. Nick Prowse, Head Principal of Sherborne Qatar, led the Signing Ceremony marking the official start of the partnership program.

The collaboration between the two top-notch companies aims to provide activities that align with the British curriculum at Sherborne Doha. These activities cover some of the educational programs from Year 1 to Year 6.

For Year 2, the culinary activity is crafted to highlight the importance of food hygiene and food handling. The recycling activity, however, is designed in a way to underline the importance of the history of Egyptian Papyrus & the paper recycling process - one important way to teach kids about sustainability in the modern world. Through this activity, the kids will develop their critical thinking by making sure that they are following the process correctly, as well as their motor skills by assembling their own paper bags that are 100% recycled, reusable, and recyclable.

Mr. Victor Jabbour, Qatar Entertainment (Tasali) W.L.L. General Manager, said that “KidZania is the world’s leading education and entertainment brand, and we believe that the best method in teaching children is through role-playing. With its unique business model, brands and businesses in the country are able to interact with kids and give them informative experiences that will definitely make a huge impact on their future.”

Mr. Nick Prowse, President & CEO of Sherborne Doha said: “ This is an exciting time for us to experiment our learnings in a different setup outside of the classroom. We are providing British Curriculum students with the opportunity to come experience hands-on what they learn in the books in our classrooms. Making learning a more fun and interactive process.

This partnership between highly reputable companies is part of KidZania’s desire and vision to provide a realistic and unique learning environment for children that is both fun and educational through role-playing, in which the expertise and skills of international and local brands are used as an asset in providing an all-out experience. This collaboration also aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030 of developing and empowering children.
