Banks reopen tomorrow after six-day Eid Al Adha holidays.
Some banks had kept their branches open during Eid vacation to facilitate cheque clearances, monitor online payment systems and carry out money transfers by people, mainly to Asia and Arab countries.
The banks, including the local and foreign ones operating in the country, are expected to deploy more front-office staff on the first three days after they reopen tomorrow to cope with huge customer turnout anticipated after the long Eid break.
Government offices and schools are reopening on Wednesday.
