In celebration of its 4th anniversary, the National Museum of Qatar has launched its NMoQ Explorer, developed in collaboration with Microsoft. The NMoQ Explorer is an interactive space dedicated to representing its collections and experiences virtually.
The NMoQ Explorer is a custom-developed solution, designed to mirror the immersive interactive approach of the National Museum of Qatar. Qatar Museum’s star pilot open access and online collections project maps objects to periods to sites, in a novel mapping approach powered by fully scalable knowledge mining tool with Artificial intelligence. This approach allows for interconnected experience, seamlessly transitioning between space, time and objects.
Users will soon be able to browse the content in any language through a multilingual chatbot, launching later this year.
By offering online interactive virtual experiences, NMOQ transcends borders between the real and the virtual, opening the museum to diverse audiences, both locally and internationally. Furthermore, it provides a unique educational resource for students of all levels.
