The UK-based Steven Gerrard Academy (SGA) and Evolution Sports Qatar have teamed up to create the ultimate Talent ID Camp for players ages 14-18 who have future aspirations of playing football internationally, progressing into the professional game, or simply taking their knowledge to the next level.
Date: Friday and Saturday, May 20-21, 2022
Location: Doha College’s state-of-the-art Al Wajba campus
The SGA camp will be headed up by former professional footballers Michael Wilde and Danny Harrison who have both played in the UEFA Champions League. Harrison and Wilde will fly to Qatar from the U.K to impart their wealth of knowledge to the young players in attendance.
Using the academies sports science approach, players will enjoy cutting edge practices on the pitch, and off it, they will access workshops in nutrition, video analysis, and strength and conditioning.
