The global COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the mental health of communities around the world. For this online edition of the Education City Speaker Series, in collaboration with the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH), we gather experts to discuss mental health in times of widespread disease, social distancing, and global anxiety. Areas featured in the discussion will include vulnerable groups such as those with pre-existing mental health conditions, healthcare workers, those at risk from PTSD, as well as people grieving the loss of a family member or friend.
The event will be titled “Global Perspectives: Mental Health in a COVID-19 World,” and will be moderated by Mishal Husain, global news presenter, journalist, and documentary-maker.
