Celebrate Garangao this year with events organized by Qatar Museums for children and families to celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Garangao is considered one of Qatar’s special celebrations, especially loved by children. Fire Station invites the public to enjoy their very own Garangao celebration, including a magic show, Garangao give aways, and face painting. There will also be food and beverage kiosks selling refreshments. This event is free to attend.
The Museum of Islamic Art’s Garangao invites children to take part in this creative workshop where they will create and embellish their very own bags to be filled with traditional candy and treats. Register for the session here.
Grab your Garangao bag and roam around the old palace in celebration of Garangao. The programme will be held in Arabic.
