Time: 8am - 5pm
The event is being organised by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in collaboration with Qatar Flying Club and with the sponsorship of Qatar Airways, Ooredoo and RasGas. It will see the participation of more than 50 light and mid-sized jets from various regional clubs, according to a statement.
The Al Khor Fly-In represents an important annual event that provides suitable orientation about the most recent aviation developments in a “family, entertaining and educational atmosphere”, the statement notes.
The ninth edition will feature a number of creative attractions, which are being organised for the first time, such as unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) shows, formation flying, Air Sports Committee shows and professional aerobatic shows.
These are in addition to the participation of private jet owners, paramotor shows and contributions from local, regional and international flying clubs, the statement adds.
