The Cultural Village Foundation, Katara has announced the start of registration for the 12th edition of the Holy Quran Memorization Competition for the blessed month of Ramadan which will last until March 21, through the official website of Katara, for male and female children born from 2009 to 2012.

The competition is scheduled to start on Sunday, March 26, and its activities will continue weekly from Sunday to Thursday, after Asr prayer.

Details:

  • Registration for the competition starts from March 19 to March 22, 2023.
  • Participating ages born in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.
  • The boys will receive memorization lessons in the Katara Grand Mosque, and the girls in the Golden Mosque.
  • Katara called on parents to take the initiative to register the names of their children through the website katara.net, by filling out the required data in the registration form, which includes the name of the participant, date of birth, gender, and the name of the guardian in the language English as shown in the Qatari identity of the guardian.
  • In addition to attaching a copy of the passport or ID card of the participant and a copy of the ID card of the participant’s guardian, provided that it is valid, and an IBAN certificate from the bank of the participant’s guardian issued by the bank.
  • It is worth noting that the participating children will be divided into several teams within two groups - boys and girls.
  • The training and memorization of the participating children will also be supervised by a group of the most qualified memorizers and trainers accredited by the Ministry of Endowments and Affairs.
