Qatar-India-flights-to-continue-Embassy-of-India-Doha

The Embassy of India, Doha, announced in a tweet on 31 July 2021 that the Air Bubble Arrangement between India and Qatar has been extended for the month of August 2021.

As per an earlier update by The Embassy of India, Doha, the Air Bubble Arrangement allows the following:

Both Indian and Qatari carriers will be permitted to operate flights between India and Qatar and carry the following categories of persons on such flights.

  1. From India to Qatar
    1. Qatari nationals
    2. Any Indian national holding any type of valid Qatar visa and destined for Qatar only. It would be for the concerned airlines to ensure that there is no travel restriction for Indian nationals to enter Qatar with the particular visa category before the issue of ticket/ boarding pass to the Indian passenger.
  2. From Qatar to India
    1. Indian nationals stranded in Qatar
    2. All Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders holding Qatari passports, and
    3. Qatari nationals (including diplomats) holding a valid visa issued by an Indian mission in any category covered under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines dated 30 June 2020.

The designated airlines of both the sides will be permitted to sell tickets between India and Qatar in each direction through their websites, sales agents and global distribution systems (GDS).
