Talabat, the food and grocery delivery app, is offering organisations more ways to reduce the financial strain on employees during COVID-19, through partnering with the platform.

The partnership will enable organisations’ employees to benefit from more free delivery options for restaurants and shops, as well as employee offers.

The partnership, which is completely free for organisations and open to every organisation in Qatar., currently already offers benefits to more than 40,000 employees in Doha, Al Wakrah and Al Khor. Companies such as Qatar Airways and Qatar Petroleum have already joined. Initially, partnerships will run until the end of June.

Francisco De Souza, Managing Director of Talabat Qatar, believes that it is Talabat’s duty to help to make food delivery more affordable for consumers throughout the country during COVID-19.

‘We understand consumers are struggling. We’re all in this together. By partnering with organisations, and utilising their channels - it gives us the ability to be able to reach a huge cross-section of the population, which in turn allows us to pass on greater affordability.’

‘The safety of our customers has been a top priority for Talabat, especially during COVID-19. While we initially started with safety in terms of physical safety and were the first to introduce contactless delivery, as well as gloves, masks and sanitiser, we also introduced location-based free delivery, to help ease the financial burden.

‘This partnership goes one step further to help ensure that as much of the working population of Qatar can benefit from these offers.

Any organisation interested in the partnership can directly submit their interest using this link, after which a Talabat representative will be touch to proceed with the respective steps.

Customers can download the Talabat App via the App Store or Google Play
