Doha Festival City removed the dine-in announcement posts on their social media and their call centre confirms the uncertainty of the dine-in until the further announcements.

Doha Festival City announced the opening of some restaurants for dine-in starting from 25 July 2020. These restaurants include:

Please note that children under the age of 12 and guests who are unable to show a healthy green status on their EHTERAZ app, will not be allowed entry to the mall or restaurants.

All coronavirus (COVID-19) precautionary measures will be taken to ensure guests and staff have a pleasant dining experience that's safe and hygienic.

In Phase 2 of the gradual lifting of COVID-19 restrictions in Qatar, select restaurants will be allowed to open (keep checking back for any further developments and/or changes).

Doha Festival City (DFC)

All restaurants, cafes, food and beverages outlets in DFC will remain closed for dining in, and that includes the food court as well, as per a statement released by the Mall.

However, the restaurants, cafes, food and beverages outlets will remain open for home delivery and take away from Sunday to Thursday. For take aways, all restaurants, cafes, food and beverages outlets must arrange and install proper queuing with directives for customers on social distancing of a minimum of 1.5 metres while awaiting take away.

On Fridays and Saturdays, there will be no take away allowed; only home delivery options will be open.

Mall of Qatar

Mall of Qatar has confirmed that its restaurants, cafes, food and beverages outlets will not open for dining along with is food court.

Restaurants, cafes, food and beverages outlets will remain open for home delivery and take away from Sunday to Thursday. For take aways, all restaurants, cafes, food and beverages outlets must arrange and install proper queuing with directives for customers on social distancing of a minimum of 1.5 metres while awaiting take away.

On Fridays and Saturdays, there will be no take away allowed; only home delivery options will be open.

Restaurants in some of Qatar's tourist spots will resume operations from 1 July. These tourist spots are

Please note that all the restaurants and kiosks in the above tourist spots will only be open for take aways and home delivery. Dining in is not allowed.

Some of the changes you will see in the restaurants in Phase 2

• Restaurants will be opening with a limited capacity of 30% in Phase 2.
• Prior reservation will be mandatory in some restaurants.
• Healthy green status on EHTERAZ must be shown to enter, otherwise entry will be denied.
• Tables will be placed keeping social distancing protocols in mind.
• The number of people sitting at a table will also be limited.
• Masks must be worn when entering and leaving the restaurant, and also while moving around in the restaurant.
• QR Codes will be used for menus which will be scanned to the mobile where the menu will open up (in some restaurants).
• Electronic payment will be preferred.
