The Ministry of Public Health today announced the registration of a new confirmed case of coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) in the State of Qatar, for a Qatari citizen who returned from the Islamic Republic of Iran in the recent period, and subjected to quarantine upon his arrival in the country, bringing the number of confirmed cases of the virus in the country to twelve.
The patient has been admitted to the Transitional Diseases Center under complete isolation and is in stable health condition. The Ministry of Public Health confirms that the patient has not had contact with community members since his arrival, and indicators of disease outbreaks in the State of Qatar are still low.
It is noteworthy that the Corona Virus 2019 contact center (Covid-19) in the Ministry of Public Health receives any communications or inquiries related to the virus around the clock on the toll-free number (16000)
