The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced in a tweet that it is no longer mandatory to wear face masks for students, teachers and administrators, in all kindergartens, as well as public and private schools.

This comes based on the decision announced by the Cabinet today, 31 August. The Cabinet has also announced earlier today that masks are no longer required in closed public places effective 1 September 2022.
However, as per the Qatar Cabinet meeting, all workers in establishments, whose nature of work requires being in closed spaces and communicating with customers, must wear masks during their work period.
