Citizens, residents, and visitors of Qatar are no longer required to wear face masks in all closed public places, except for health facilities and public transportation according to the decision made during the Cabinet Meeting held on 31 August 2022.
However, as per the Qatar Cabinet meeting, all workers in establishments, whose nature of work requires being in closed spaces and communicating with customers, must wear masks during their work period.
This decision shall be effective as of Thursday, 1 September 2022 until further notice.
