Countless of unfortunate stories have been lingering in various parts of Qatar regarding a "deadly" specie of ant which, according to relatives of bitten ones, are mostly black in color and can be spotted in grassy parks and even inside homes!
According to the Hamad Medical Corporation, a total of 105 patients attended to their Emergency Department following Samsum Ant stings in a period of one year where it was found to be a frequent summer problem.
