The Qatari Ministry of Defence and the Italian Ministry of Defence signed joint technical agreements regarding cooperation in the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The signing ceremony was held in the Italian capital Rome on 6 September 2022.
H.E. Maj. Gen. Mohamed Abdellatif Al-Mannai, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the World Cup, signed for the Qatari side while H.E. Maj. Gen. Achille Fernando Cosania, Commander of the Operations Department of the Italian Air Force, signed on behalf of Italy.
