Qatar based companies produce unique world cup merchandise

The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) has signed licensing deals with three Qatar-based companies to produce merchandise.

Promoart, which was established in 2011, will produce models of the eight stadiums that will host FIFA World Cup™ matches. Toys4Joy, meanwhile, will create stadium puzzles, and Concepto will produce mobile phone covers featuring pictures of the stadiums. The companies will sell the products in the Corniche Activation during the tournament and onboard the cruise ship liners hosting thousands of fans.

Khalid Al Naama, Executive Director, Community Engagement & Commercial, SC, said: “We are proud to be working with Promoart, Toys4Joy and Concepto to produce collectors’ items related to Qatar’s incredible stadiums. We are sure local people and football fans from around the world will love these products.”

Rashed Al Tamimi, CEO, Promoart, said: “We are honoured to be producing these wonderful gifts and playing a small part in Qatar and the SC’s legacy. We look forward to bringing these products to life.”

Nasser Al Emadi, Founder, Concepto, said: “We are delighted to be collaborating with the SC and look forward to selling our products to people in Qatar.”

Dr. Haytham Daker, CEO, Toys4Joy, said: “It is an honour to collaborate with the SC to produce educational toys that will help children develop key skills. We are sure families will enjoy putting together these puzzles of Qatar’s eight spectacular stadiums.”

The SC encourages local businesses to submit proposals for licensing deals to produce commercial merchandise. Interested parties should email [email protected].
