Hosts of family & friends during the World Cup 2022 in Qatar have received an email from the Hayya Portal with regard to their previous guest list, which they had during the World Cup has been reset.
The announcement comes in light of the recent Hayya card extension that was announced by the Ministry of Interior, which mentioned that Hayya cardholders will be able to enter Qatar from 30 January 2023 to 24 January 2024.
The reset entails that new guests can be added to the property that the host has registered with. The email also mentioned that this reset will not affect the Hayya application status of new guests (30 January 2023 to 24 January 2024).
Additionally, it was mentioned that due to the reset, guests registered during the World Cup will have to arrange for the accommodation again via any of the accepted modes, including Host Family & Friends, hotel booking or accommodation booking platforms prior to their arrival in Qatar.
