The port's capacity would be 12,096 vehicles on arrival and 12,726 vehicles on departure, with the old port accommodating only 3,000 vehicles, which meant a capacity greater than before.
According to Al Sharq, the Saudi channel confirmed that raising the capacity will contribute to providing the best services to all operators, and those crossing to and from the Kingdom, especially during the next phase of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
