And that only means one thing, more places to go to from Qatar! So scroll down and get ready to add more to your bucket list!

Where to go in 2020 from Qatar

1. Langkawi, Malaysia

Langkawi, also known as "The Jewel of Kedah", is the airline's eight new destination in 2019, with the first flight landing on October 15, 2019, in Langkawi International Airport. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner operates via Penang and flies five times weekly to the archipelago. Qatar Airways is the first middle eastern airlines to fly to Langkawi.

Where to go and what to do:

Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark, the first UNESCO Geopark in Southeast Asia, is not to be missed. Discover more than 550 million years of geological and biological history in these 99 islands.

Take a picture with Dataran Lang, a 12-ft eagle with its wings spread wide open and then ride the Cable Car to the top of Mt Mat Cincang. For the adventurers, Langkawi Sky Bridge offers a thrilling view from 700 meters above sea level. If you prefer something more grounded, visit Langkawi Legend Park, the open-air garden museum to learn about the island's legends and folktales.

And of course, don't forget to check out at least one beach, as Langkawi is one of Malaysia's popular beach destinations.

Beyond: Penang, another UNESCO Heritage Site, is on the way to Langkawi. Penang is a famous food and art destination.
