The Ministry of Transport reported in a tweet that the Education City and Msheireb Trams transported 10,422 total passengers on Friday, 9 December. The education city tram had 9,198 recorded passengers, while the Msheireb tram recorded 1,224 riders.

Apart from that, the Ministry of Transport also recorded 726,947 passengers of metro and tram riders on Lusail on Friday, December 9.
