Japan Airlines announced on 18 July 2023 that they are gearing up to launch a nonstop service to Doha in the Summer of 2024. The daily service will be from Tokyo (Haneda) to Doha.
The launch of this route is the first of its kind for Japan Airlines as the first direct flight to the Middle East.
Additionally, this route is expected to facilitate travellers to reach Africa and South America through its partnership with Qatar Airways, a oneworld® member.
A fleet of 787-9 flights is expected to be operating the Haneda to Doha route every day.
Detailed flight schedules and ticket reservations are yet to be announced.
