Doha Metro & Lusail Tram have announced on 11 August 2022, service updates that will take place on 12 August 2022 for the metro Red Line and Lusail Tram.

Red Line service update:

The Doha Metro services will be replaced with alternative services on the Red Line; however, metrolink and metroexpress will continue operations as normal.

• To facilitate the changes, replacement bus services will operate from Al Wakra Bus Station platform 2.
• M126 metrolink will operate to and from the Free Zone (Entrance 2) every 20 minutes - other routes will operate as normal.
• metroexpress services will continue as normal
• Replacement buses will operate between Al Wakra and Lusail QNB every 5 minutes.
• Replacement buses will operate between HIA and Ras Abu Aboud every 15 minutes.
• There will be no replacement buses service Katara and Ras bu Fontas metro stations.

Lusail Tram service update:

Lusail Tram services will be replaced with alternative services on 12 August 2022, and customers will have to use the metrolink and metroexpress.

The following alternative services may be used to travel to and from Lusail Marina and Fox Hills (South):

• M147 metrolink route to and from Qatar University Metro Station (Entrance 1).
• Metroexpress to and from Legtaifiya Metro Station.
