Qatar ranked third among the list of countries with the fastest mobile internet (September 2022). The Speedtest Global Index includes internet speed rankings for some of the world’s largest cities. Qatar ranked third with a speed of 124.29 Mbps and is surpassed by the United Arab Emirates (126.85 Mbps) and Norway (126.94 Mbps) taking the second and first place respectively.

The Speedtest Global Index compares internet speed data from around the world on a monthly basis. Data for the Index comes from the hundreds of millions of tests taken by real people using Speedtest every month.
