The Color Run is the largest running series in the world, where runners are covered with
different colors throughout the course. Participants can choose to run, walk, jog or skip around the five-kilometer course with their family and friends.
In Qatar, the 5k running event is geared to make exercising fun and accessible to everyone.
The organizers said: "In past years, the Color Run has positively shifted the way people in Qatar view running and the record-breaking turnouts speak to that."
This 2019, a new wave of colors and fun is set to blanket all of Doha as the fifth edition of the well-loved sport event kicks off this Saturday at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
Listed below are five new and exciting features waiting for you at the venue!
Not all who wear capes are superheroes that's why this year’s edition of the 5k annual run brings with it a new Hero Tour theme, encouraging all Color Runners to unleash their inner superhero and enter into a realm where they are unstoppable, and nothing is impossible!

Besides the Super Zone, participants will also soar to new heights and discover their inner superhero in the Foam Zone! This feature was announced last year as well but nowhere to be found on the race day itself so were hoping and praying that it finally gets materialised this year!
The zone is 15 meters long and allows runners to enjoy bubbles and foam on the course!
All runners will receive a cape in their race pack and, for the first time ever, everyone will be awarded a super medal at the finish line! Isn't that exciting?
The runners finish the 5k with a super-charged Finish Festival that includes a DJ, MC, unlimited EDM music, and plenty of games and activities for all! Make sure to splatter as many colors as you can for the ultimate fun!
The 2018 edition of The Color Run attracted a record-breaking 9,000 participants and this year’s turnout is expected to bypass that, so make sure not to miss out on all the fun and secure your place by purchasing your tickets now!
