The Qatari table tennis team won three coloured medals today in the 17th Arab Table Tennis Championship, which is underway in the Iraqi city of Sulaymaniyah, with 9 Arab teams.
Qatar won two silvers by Mohammed Al Sulaiti in the U-13 singles category, Ahmed Eid in the U-15 singles category, and one bronze by Sultan Al Kuwari, in the U-15 singles category.
In the men's category, Mohammed Abdelwahhab qualified for the final after defeating Bahraini Rashid Sanad in the semi-finals. He will face Jordanian Ziad Aziz in the final in search of the gold medal.
